French Beauty, Vintage Style Card

Hi to all in blogland, hope you are well.  My card for today features the beautiful image French Beauty which I got from Scarlettess.




I have been wanting to make a vintage style card for a while and have used this quite week to make a card featuring this fabulous image.



Material used for this card:

Kraft paper base card.  Design Papers from Crafty Individuals. Mounting paper from my stash with edges distressed with gold to give a vintage feel.
Lovely image as detailed above.
Wonderful vintage style ribbon from The Ribbon Girl.  Beaded hat pin.
Fabulous pearl and lace decoration which is sumptuous.
Gardenia Flower from The Ribbon Reel.
Gorgeous Duflex Butterflies.

Sailor Boys by Mo Manning

Hello another card from me today which I made yesterday evening.  I hope this finds you well.  I have had a fun week this week with family celebrations over the week-end and the beginning of the week and lots of craft time at this end of the week.



This easel card is my third submission for a Guest Design Post at Mo's Digital Challenge .

My card features 2 of the figures from the set Sailor Boys by Mo and the Challenge theme is    'In the Doghouse'.  I have used one of the boys and the fabulous dog image supplied in the set.

Wonderful Maja Design Paper - Life by the Sea, Islands and Skerries an Kraft papers.

12 x 12 Cardstock base to make 6 x 6 card.  Prima design papers. 
Wonderful stamp Jules which is now available to buy from Saturated Canary but I got as a freebie as a follower of Krista's  Blog.
Image is coloured using Promarker Pens, polychrome pencils and gel pen.
 Wonderful fabric and paper flowers, feathers, pearls and ribbon.
I had a birthday recently and received some lovely greetings from my wonderful Design Team Mates.  They really are a lovely bunch of girls.
  I always use my birthday to stock up on new cutting dies and card decorations.  
On this card I have used my new Cheery Lynn Oval,  Catalina ring, flower heads and butterfly Die.

Frenchie Friends Michelle and Jo Jo from Crafts and Me

Hello and happy day to everyone.  I am having a few days off work and should be doing all the household and gardening chores which do not usually get done.  What am I doing - you guessed in - crafting.  So naughty!!!!


My card for today feature the wonderful Frenchie Friends Michelle and Jojo by Hannah Lynn for Crafts n Me and they are lovely.  I have again made a 6 x 6  gate fold card with a built in double front stepper and I am in love with this type of card at present.  It is so easy to make.


List of Materials used to make this card:

2 x 12 x 12 sheets or card for backing and toppers.
A Walk in the Garden Design Papers which are glittered and are lovely.
Wonderful image - link above - coloured using mostly Promarker Pens and with slight white gel highlights.
Lovely on the edge die cuts to make layers for steppers cut from white glitter card and stained with pink and green inks.
Various butterfly images and Eiffel Tower from Kaisercraft.

Ribbon, pearls and Prima flowers from my stash.

I have made a decorated band for the outside of the card decorated with label for personal greeting and more lovely Prima Flowers and matching glitter papers.  It ages since I made a banded card  My last was Christmas I think.  This really gives a lovely finish to a gate fold card.

Beach Ball Girl From Spesch Stamps

Hi to all in blogland.  I hope this finds you well.  My card from today features the so cute Beach Ball Girl from Spesch Stamps which I won in a recent Challenge and she is lovely.

Go Kreate cutting dies to make an approx 6" round easel card. 
12 x 12 card stock for base of cards and mats x 2 sheets.  Designer paper from  my stash.
Wonderful image coloured using Promarker Pens and gel pen and distress ink.
Doilies, ribbon and pearls from my stash.
Die cuts for butterfly, hand made flowers using my new Die-Namics flower die and swirls.

Helena and Henry have a Hug

Hello and happy day to you all.  We are having the most fabulous hot and sunny weather and following the wash out of a summer we have had so far, its wonderful.  We have just come back from lunch on the Estuary and a walk on the beach and it has been glorious.  My Vitamin D levels are soaring.



Enough of my waffle and onto my card for today which I have made to enter the Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge, there is a GD call ongoing.   I am really excited at being able to take part in this wonderful opportunity and quite overwhelmed by the quality and number of entries.  There are some fabulous crafters out there. My card features the cute siblings Helena and Henry and they are having a lovely hug.

12 x 12 Card Stock and beautiful glittered 6x6 sheet for the front of the card.  Matching coloured papers inside of the card.

Wonderful Image coloured using Promarker Pens, gel pen and Polychrome Pencils.

Lovely Die Cut Oval, and butterfly and floral circle die cuts.

Pink ribbon, a variety of flowers from Prima in lovely sweet shades, die cut leaves and pearls from my stash.

This card is made from a sheet of 12 x 12 Core'dinations paper and is folded at 3" x 9" Horizontally and 6" Vertically.  2 x 3" panels have been cut from the sheet and the centre panel has been folded at 1", 2", 3" and cut at 4".  
A decorated sheet of Christmas paper from my stash.
Lots of lovely die cuts from silver mirror card - trees and swirls and glitter card snowflakes. Snowflakes are a Marianne Die, Flowering Christmas Tree and Frosty Border are Memory Box Dies.   Pearls have been used to decorate the snowflakes
The lovely Miss Bea is coloured using a mixture of Flexmarker and Promarker Pens. 
I have used some Anita's Glitter snow and decorated with extra glitter detail.

First Christmas Card for 2012

Hello all in Blogland.  I hope this finds you well.  My card for today is my first Christmas card for 2012 and features the image    And I want a...... from Mo Manning.  I was one of the lucky winners of  the recent Mo's  DP2 Challenge and chose this image with my prize voucher.



This is a fun and very traditional image and I have tried  to decorate the card in a traditional way.



List of Materials used for this card:
Wonderful image from Mo Manning coloured using Promarker Pens in traditional Christmas shades.
Papers and elements from a kit I have in my stash.  Trees decorated with glitter pom poms  which I have had in my stash still in the packet from last year.
Backing card and pearlised card for mounting.  Machine stitching to highlight front of card. 
Glitter Swirls, Die Cut Star Buttons and Twine.
This card has a folksy feel mostly due to the papers and decoration used.
Foiled sentiment toppers.
