Cute Little Deer for Crafter's Companion.

Hello to everyone.  I would like to share a sweet Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen creation for Crafter's Companion IIDT.  This card features one of the cute co-ordinating stamps from the Forest Friends set. Such a sweetie and in the 'real' world full of sparkle and shine! For this card I used the sparkle markers on top of my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.


List of materials used to make this card:
Stamp from Forest Friends stamp set.
Technique: Sparkle pen applied directly from pen over Spectrum Noir markers.
Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens: Spring -Summer 12pc: Moonlight.
Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens: Autumn-Winter 12pc: Harvest Moon, Crystal Clear.
Spectrum Noir markers used: TN2 TN4, EB2, EB4.
Background and die cut stars technique:
Spectrum Noir Sparkle markers applied to block and painted with water/brush to dilute sparkle medium

Skating Santa for SCS Wednesday Sketch!


Hello to everyone.  Sharing my DT card for this weeks Sketch Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.   I really had fun with this great sketch and managed to incorporate various techniques.  The image used is Skating Santa from Eureka Stamps. I think I was given this stamp while on a previous DT.  Its such a cute Santa and so easy to colour.

Spectrum Noir Sparkle Markers - Floral


Hello to everyone.  Sharing a cute card featuring the new Spectrum Noir sparkle marker pens and one of the lovely new stamps!  These pens are full of bright pigment and fabulous glimmer and sparkle (see close up below).  They are a complete delight to work with, have a very fine nib and are great to use on their own, or over other colouring mediums. 



Technique used: Spectrum Sparkle marker applied directly to watercolour card, die cuts and kraft card embossed background. Small butterfly, sparkle marker applied directly to stamp.

Such a Christmas Cutie!

Hello to everyone.  I hope your weekend is going well.  I have been colouring most of today, such a lot of fun.  This card features the cute Fairy Twinkles, from Make it Crafty.    There is so much sparkle and twinkle on the card, that the camera has not captured.  The image is coloured using my Spectrum Noir pencils.

Let it Snow!

October Tutorial for Spectrum Noir.

Wraith Mae monochrome creation.

Hello to all.  My creation features a  halloween image from Some Odd Girl, coloured with my Spectrum Noir pencils.  She really is a monochrome beauty.  The card is shabby chic, using various papers from my stash.  The diagonal card layer is scored on the Big Score and coloured with Memento, London Fog, ink pad.

Autumnal Celebration.

Hello to all!  I am a little in love with this cute squirrel stamp from Sheena Douglass and thought I would use the autumnal season, as an excuse for colouring him again for Crafter's Companion IIDT.   The project is quite 3D with Mr Squirrel mounted on an acetate strip with all his winter spoils to store!

In the pink for Wednesday Sketch Challenge SCS.

Under the sea - mixed media project.

Hello to all.  My card share for today features a mixed media project.  I had loads of fun creating this one and got covered in paint and glitter.  
The background is painted using a layer of gesso and colour was introduced with my Spectrum Aqua markers.  
The image is a digi stamp from QKR Stampede - Sea Horse. 
Various stamps have been painted/stamped onto the project and coloured with paints, markers and pencils.

Merry and Bright for CCIIDT and some exciting DT news!

Hello to everyone.  I would like to share another sweet christmas creation for Crafter's Companion IIDT.  
This card features the lovely Merry and Bright image, Sheena Douglass, from the free CD-ROM in the recent edition of Crafter's Inspiration Magazine.  

I also have some exciting news to share. 
 I was honoured and delighted to be asked to join the Design Team for the Splitcoast Stampers  Wednesday Card Sketches Challenge, for a four month DT post.   This is my first DT card and I have kept it very CAS.
I look forward to being a bit more diciplined in my card creation, as I follow the sketch guidlines provided each week.
